Kisumu is hands-down one of my favorite places to eat—whether I’m dining in, ordering takeout, or having it delivered, they never miss. The presentation is always top-tier. Everything from the packaging to the plating is thoughtfully done. Even their takeout bags are stylish and well-designed, which speaks volumes about the care they put into the experience. The food? Incredible. Their avocado roll is my go-to, but honestly, everything I’ve tried has been delicious—from the fried rice to their super refreshing lemonade (seriously, the lemonade alone deserves five stars). Every bite feels fresh and full of flavor. But what really sets Kisumu apart is the people. They treat you like family—kind, patient, and genuinely attentive. It’s rare to find that kind of warmth paired with such high-quality food. As a bonus, they even sell adorable little keychains and bracelets that give the place an extra touch of charm. If I could eat here every day, I would. I’m truly grateful for the consistently great experiences. Highly, highly recommend!

Kisoro Sushi & Steak absolutely impressed us! I had the Spicy Ahi Poke Bowl—it was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Every bite hit just right. My wife ordered the Tennessee Roll and couldn’t stop raving about it—she called it perfection. Our server was kind and knowledgeable, taking the time to explain the specials without making us feel rushed. The service overall was smooth and attentive—we never had to wait long for food or drinks. Definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to!

I ordered through uber eats and I’m usually skeptical of having food delivery for a place that is not a chain. However, the food was top notch and filled with flavor. I can tell that This restaurant takes a lot pride in even the simplest things like their take out bowls, cups, and take out bags. I’m definitely going to have to come down in person. 10/10

I have this place saved in my favorites now after several consistently great experiences. Their food is always fresh, cooked correctly, and delicious. Every person I've encountered at each visit has been super friendly and efficient. The portions are generous so I always take some with me. I appreciate the cleanliness of the bathrooms. I enjoy the music because it fits the dining experience perfectly, however it's kind of loud. That's the only reason I gave 4 stars for atmosphere. My favorite appetizer is the gyoza, and I love their hibachi salmon and filet mignon combo.

I’ve eaten here multiple times and to go orders. Customer service is always exceptional! I love the reusable bags on to go orders!! The ambiance is very quaint and cute. I like the way the rice is made here versus other locations. While I was waiting I got a free cucumber lemonade and it was so refreshing and clean tasting! Love this place

Our first time here and we really enjoyed our food. My son chose this place as his end of school year dinner, and we're glad we tried it. My husband gets off of work late, so it's nice that they are open late, so we were able to dine in. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be returning.

The experience was a 10/10. We ordered from their lunch menu and received fresh sushi. I would recommend eating here. Also the amazing cucumber lemonade was so refreshing!
